Immunizations

The Shannon County Health Center provides immunizations to infants, children, and adults.  To schedule an appointment for immunization, call 573-226-3914 or toll-free at 800-777-3915.

Influenza vaccinations are provided each year for anyone 6 months of age and older.  We usually start immunizing for flu in September or October and continue through February of the next year.  Please be sure to bring your Medicare or other insurance card with you as we now use a vendor who can bill many insurance companies.  Please be sure to wear a short sleeve shirt for easier access to the immunization site.

Children

  • Required immunizations are provided to preschool and school age children who are uninsured, or have Medicaid or other private health insurance.
  • To receive immunizations, children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present.
