Immunizations

The Shannon County Health Center provides immunizations to infants, children, and adults. Immunization clinics are held every Monday from 7:30 AM thru 4:00 PM.  Immunizations may also be given on other days depending on nurse availability.

Influenza vaccinations are provided each year for anyone 6 months of age and older.  We usually start immunizing for flu in September or October and continue through February of the next year.  Walk-ins are welcome every Monday at the Eminence office and shots will be given until the vaccine supply is exhausted. Please be sure to bring your Medicare or other insurance card with you as we now use a vendor who can bill many insurance companies.  Please be sure to wear a short sleeve shirt for easier access to the immunization site.

Children

  • Required immunizations are provided to preschool and school age children who are uninsured, or have Medicaid or other private health insurance.
  • To receive immunizations, children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present.
